This section is devoted entirely to the application written by my team and myself during our Visual Basic course at PIAT. Unlike the PHP and PHP-GTK code sections, the source code of this application will not be available for viewing online. As anyone with any experience in Visual Basic programming will understand, the layout code editor used by Visual Basic to code buttons, windows, etc. does not allow for the source code to be easily exported. As I just mentioned, this application is a team project I wrote with the fictional company Prometheus Technological Solutions Inc. The other member's of Prometheus are:
Nancy Barrington, Barry Kent, Lora Masters, Erin Metcalfe, and Danielle Walley. The project spec's required us to write a program for a fictious pharmacy to add, delete, and maintain their customer, supplier, and inventory records. The application uses a MS Access database to store the appropriate records. Clicking on the following thumbnails will allow you to view full size images of the various program windows and provide a brief explanation of the purpose of each window. The links at the botton of this page will allow you to download the source code or binary distributions for this project.
