This is a classified ad listings application I wrote under contract to The Equine-Trader Inc. which will aid in greatly simplifying their existing ad submission and update procedure. The application allows the Equine-Trader's customers to create and edit their own user accounts which are in turn used to submit new ads, edit and request time extensions on existings ads, and request the removal of sold items and animals. The adminstrative interface allows the owner to control all aspects of the application's behaviour and appearance as well as ad bodies, ad images, and user accounts.

- large amount of specific information, including horse pedigrees, can be entered for each ad
- ad's are fully searchable based on several detailed categories
- in search results, ad's are displayed in compact form with a link to the full entry
- ad stats are viewable in both search results and ad edit forms
- Web-based editing of the configuration files.
- Auto-backup of the configuration files.
- Auto-email notification for ad inserts and updates.
- Auto thumbnail generation.
- Auto-deletion of ad-associated images when an ad is deleted from the database.
- The ability to enable or disable the above auto features.
- Internal script debugger which notifies the admin of via email in the unlikely even of a program error.
- PHP engine sends email from prospective buyers to ad owners using the owner's stored addresses, preventing people from randomly grabbing email addresses of the system
While the Equine-Trader has been kind enough to allow a demo version of this application to appear on my site, since this program was written under contract for said employer, the source code will not be made available for viewing or download.
