This script was written in an attempt to ease a friend's difficulty in finding mp3's. Of course Napster was easier still, but Napster's security level was a bit too low for his tastes. Now that Napster is effectively dead, this script provides a more centralized location for executing searches on the more traditional sources of mp3 archives. While not a true search engine in it's own right, the idea behind the this applications is simple, collect a query and some extra options through a simple form, format the query, then open a new browser window and pass the search string to the selected engine.
