Welcome to Mithril.ca. As the title of this page indicates, it is the both a code repository and online profile for Geoff A. Virgo. As such, I expect to to fulfill multiple purposes. First, it is both a testing ground and distribution point for new applications and program prototypes which I write. While not all programs will be web-based, my PHP-GTK programs for example, most will be web-related in some form or another, with full source code being made available for all program's not that are not written under contract for an employer. The second main purpose, to showcase my talents as a programmer and web developer in the hope that it will aid me in finding employment. To aid in this pursuit I have tried to break this site up into discreet, but inter-related, sections which show a logical thought progression and/or give some information as to who I am as a person. The third main goal of this site is simply to have fun doing it. While I do plan to make web-development and programming my career, it is also one of my hobbies and a hobby that isn't fun is a hobby no longer. At any rate, I hope you find my site useful for whatever purpose brought you here in the first place.
